AFreeCloud has shutdown as of January 1st, 2023

Hello everybody, after many months of inactivity I've decided it's best to shutdown AFreeCloud services. This news might come as a shock to the 30 of you still using our services, but I just don't have the time or energy to commit to this project like I was hoping to and in order to make it grow.

I've been operating this project since 2014 and it's been stagnant the past few years a big part being I was not able to put the time into it to help it grow.

I've recently been working on multiple other projects that have taken up any free time I might have had to dedicate to AFreeCloud so I've made the decision to end this project before something happens like a huge influx of users that I cannot support.

I was planning on running this service indefinitely and just letting it do its own thing basically on autopilot (we received so few support tickets my time was mostly spent on server maintenance). That's not really fair to the people who put any sort of reliance on the project though so I'm making this decision before it impacts too many people.

We've had thousands of signups over the years, but as of now only 30 websites are still active which shows me the era of hosting your own website might be over.

Thank you all for being a part of this over the past 8 years. I wish you all luck with your future endeavors and I am truly sorry to those of you affected by this change.
