vestacp certificate expired
#1

Fyi, host02.afreecloud.com:8083 is now serving an expired Comodo certificate.

Thanks, I think I'll give LetsEncrypt a try since VestaCP apparently supports it now.

Nice.  If VestaCP doesn't automatically handle it then there's a script that you can run manually that generates a CSR, puts up the right authentication files, etc.  Still would need re-running every 3 months.

If LetsEncrypt doesn't work out, I have a couple of 1 year Comodo certs prepaid from the Namecheap black friday promo (they were $1 each iirc) and I'd be happy to donate one. Just let me know if you want it. They have to be activated before Jan 31, 2017 if that matters.

I've replaced the expired SSL certificate with a new LetsEncrypt one.

Thanks, this is great.  I notice the certificate also works for https://host02.afreecloud.com port 443 which is used for things like webmail.  But the webmail links from the control panel are just http, and the webmail url doesn't redirect to https, so it's easy to leak passwords etc.  I can get around it with an https bookmark and I don't plan to use the email feature much anyway, but thought I'd mention it.
