MySQL server on localhost not running
#1
In the Interworx panel, under MySQL, this error message is in a red alert bubble:

MySQL server on localhost not running.

This hasn't been working for a couple of days, and makes it impossible to do some things with Wordpress. Restarting it sounds like something beyond what I can do in the control panel.

It looks like it started itself yesterday.
Quote:This MySQL server has been running for 0 days, 8 hours, 4 minutes and 38 seconds.

All of the services are set to automatically restart if they fail and I probably didn't get any alerts due to outbound mail being disabled on the server.

As a side note, I check these forums once a day at most and usually before I go to bed so if you encounter anything like this please open a ticket so I'll get an e-mail and I can look into it faster. Thanks! Smile

I have an error: "mysqldump: Can't create/write to file '/home/…" Server is working, but DB backup isn't. Can you check configs or file permissions out? I'm at host02.

Please open a support ticket so I can look into this since there is no account associated with your forum account. Thanks.
